When you purchase a snowplow system there are 3 main components you need. You need a mount, a push-tube and the blade.
The mount is connected onto your machine, which hooks into the push tube.
Conventionally, there are two styles of snowplow mounts; front-mounts & mid-mounts. One is not better than the other, but rather is machine-dependent; as each machine is designed different allowing for different mounting locations.
The push tube gives distance between the blade and the machine to allow you to give you the articulation tilt.
