The staff at RBO is very proud to offer the Polaris RZR Pro XP Ruff Rider Padded Heat Shield. This passion comes from the joy that we get from sharing our Side X Sides with our pets. Years ago, we started trying to figure out a way to reduce the extreme heat generated in the bed of our Side X Sides. Many machines generate so much heat that it would be unbearable to a dog. We worked hard to find a solution. After years of development and testing, we are proud to offer our Ruff Rider Heat Pad.
We design our Ruff Rider Pet Pad to not only keep pets cool and comfy we also make it to help keep your cooler colder. We use Military Grade Heat Deflection material on the bottom of the heat shield and then sew a mildew resistant Foam Padding inside. The Polaris RZR Pro XP Ruff Rider Padded Heat Shield is the perfect pet pad for your Side X Side UTV. It fits perfectly in the Polaris RZR Pro XP.
Our Padded Heat Shields are covered with Cordura® Fabric that is mildew resistant, rip tear, and abrasion-resistant. Cleaning the pad can easily be done by using spray cleaners or mild detergents. Please avoid using Chlorine or Bleach Based products (Air Dry).

  • Orders received before 3pm MST will ship out that same day, provided the product is in stock.
  • Please note that our courier doesn’t ship to PO box addresses.  Please provide a physical shipping address.
  • Loomis is our courier of choice.  You will receive a confirmation email with tracking info from Loomis when your product ships.
  • UTV Canada is not responsible if an order takes longer than expected once shipped. Shipments may take longer to arrive during peak season due to the influx of shipments made by the courier.
  •  UTV Canada reserves the right use alternate shipping partners such as Canada Post and Purolator as necessary, typically in beyond-destination situations.
  • The shipping rate is a flat rate shipping on an ordering basis. Every time you place an order, you will be charged for shipping. The rate and time depend upon the region in which you live. See the chart below.
  • The only exception is if the item is oversized, as determined by the courier company.
  • If an item is oversized, we will notify the customer with shipping freight quote.
