The QTAC™ 85EMS is a UTV firefighting and EMS skid system. It is low-profile, light weight, and takes all the firefighting versatility of the QTAC firefighting skids and combines it with the ability to hold a full-size rescue basket.
The 85EMS features an 85-gallon, welded-copolymer tank, Waterax Versax 6 pump, 50-feet of 3/4″ hose on a Hannay Electric Hose Reel and, like all of the QTAC products, the ability to draft out of an auxiliary water source like a pool or creek. The EMS also includes a fixed, 1-inch-thick copolymer polypropylene deck mounted to the top of the tank, complete with rails for securing the basket. Its low height mean that a rescue basket can be easily loaded into place.
Dry weight is only 300 pounds, meaning most utility-style UTVs will be able to easily handle the load, whether full of water or carrying a patient.
