Career Opportunity for an Experienced Outside/Inside Salesperson

We are looking for an experienced Salesperson to join the UTV Canada Team.  We are Canada’s premier supplier of top-quality accessories with an 11-year history of offering great products and service to our dealer network and customer base of enthusiasts.

 The successful applicant will be responsible for managing an established account base of dealers, as well as providing sales and customer service to our growing market of enthusiasts.  We’re looking for a Professional who has high personal standards in customer service and knows how to develop strong buying relationships with variety of decision makers.  This includes business owners, parts managers and customers who love off-roading and the lifestyle it offers.

 Here’s the qualities we’re looking for in a Salesperson:

  • Enthusiastic, ambitious, positive, hard-working, motivated, self-starter, great listener, customer-focused, persistent (yet not pushy) and open-minded people person.  You must be excited to prospect and develop new business while growing your dealer account base.  Our new Salesperson must naturally love the lifestyle of off-roading in order to relate with our customers.
  • One to three year’s experience in B2B (Business to business) or B2C (Business to Consumer) Sales.
  • Interest in growing into the position of Sales Manager potentially in the future.
  • Long-term career focus to grow in tandem with our company.

Sales Manager

UTV Canada is looking for a sales manager to drive sales and lead our expanding sales team. We are a sensible, down to earth, family oriented organization where everyone is required to roll up their sleeves and get to work. The Sales Manager’s key responsibilities will be to:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Working actively alongside the sale team to ensure the results are achieved
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team 
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Collaborate effectively with the marketing team to plan and implement campaigns and events

The Sales Manager will possess the following personal and professional skills/qualities:

  • Minimum 5 years previous experience as a sales manager, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • A motorsports enthusiast that has powersports industry experience
  • Driven by success but not at the expense of your integrity
  • A skilled team builder
  • Understands human behavior like rockstar - as in you should have been a psychologist or you will be in your next life.
  • Committed to continuous professional and personal development
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and written
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and strategic mindset
  • An exemplary moral compass where honesty and integrity trump profit
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Social media savvy
  • A natural born leader that can lead like a king, yet humble enough to learn from your employees and take direction from the ownership group.
  • Speaking french a huge asset and preference will be given
